A draft proposal is:

    • to review the needs of in-care abuse survivors for support and information
    • to evaluate the availability, accessibility and appropriateness of existing support services
    • to identify the gaps in provision
    • to recommend to the reference group proposals for improving existing services
    • to recommend to the reference group proposals for filling gaps in services

In proposing recommendations, the sub-group will need to be aware of existing resources. It will be asked to provide ambitious and challenging recommendations, while also providing a realistic timetable and proposals for resources to ensure these recommendations can be delivered.
